DocuVault Group LLLP ("DocuVault") is the sole Colorado-based provider of comprehensive information management services. Founded in 1997, DocuVault was started from scratch by Bowen Banbury as a way to occupy two windowless floors of the Barclay Tower at 16th and Larimer. With the philosophy of "looking big" from the beginning, DocuVault embarked on a successful eight year journey that continues today while growing more than 35% per year. DocuVault Group LLLP is the parent of DocuVault Colorado LLC, DocuVault Secure Shredding LLC, DocuVault Data Security LLC, DocuVault Management LLC and DocuVault Delaware Valley LLC (Philadelphia).

Banbury recognized that the information management industry is poorly marketed as a whole, and put his MBA from Thunderbird to work. From the initial advertising on the 16th Street Mall shuttles to the comprehensive web and print marketing of today, there has always been one goal: position the company as the most reliable and professional records management company in Colorado.

DocuVault's distinctive black and red delivery fleet began as a single used minivan that delivered barbeque in its previous life. Since then, the fleet has grown to more than forty vehicles, including five special purpose-built mobile shredding trucks, climate controlled computer backup-tape transport vehicles, and other customized delivery vehicles.

DocuVault has - and continues to grow at a healthy pace. From its initial 12,000 square feet it was founded in in 1997, DocuVault now occupies hundreds of thousands of square feet and manages millions of records.

In 2002, DocuVault built the first DuraSteel vault in North America to service clients with data vaulting needs. DuraSteel was designed by the British military for the storage of munitions, is rated as a four hour firewall, and will retain structural integrity in the case that the surrounding building collapses during a fire. By December 2003, the vault was full and DocuVault built a custom 10,000 sq. ft. vault-only building with such security innovations as biometric (fingerprint) access readers, a bullet-proof reception area, and a bank vault door. These security features are now standard in all of DocuVault's facilities.

DocuVault Secure Shredding became the third piece of the information management puzzle and started in March 2003 with the acquisition of a mobile shred truck. Providing the fastest, most secure method of document destruction, our custom-built trucks destroy corporate and medical records at a customer's site at more than 400 times the speed of a typical office shredder. DocuVault now operates many trucks and also has plant operations. DocuVault was the first company in Colorado to become NAID (National Association for Information Destruction) AAA certified.

DocuVault offers the most comprehensive information lifecycle solutions in the age of HIPAA, FACTA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulations for Colorado companies and beyond.
